St James Apartments

Architect Richard Priest transformed this previously unloved but beautiful building into 32 stately apartments.

Located in the centre of Auckland opposite the newly re-designed Auckland Art Gallery, this historically classified building evokes the spirit and charm of a bygone era, and was a finalist in the 1993 BOMA (Building Owners and Managers of New Zealand Inc. Award) awards.
